Meet Billy Wayne…

Born and raised in the small town of Moultrie, Georgia, Billy's journey into music began at the heart of his family home. With his dad playing guitar and his mom's soulful singing, music was a constant companion. By age 5, Billy was already captivated by its power. From family karaoke nights to the melodies playing in the background while his mom cleaned, music became his passion and purpose.

Billy’s sound is a modern twist on country music—energetic, emotional, and rooted in storytelling. Influenced by icons like Corey Smith, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan, he creates songs that reflect his Southern roots and personal experiences. Whether it’s a catchy hook or heartfelt lyrics, Billy’s music connects deeply with his audience.

Billy’s journey has taken him to some incredible milestones. He has released several singles, with more on the way, and is currently working with Tyler Tomlinson, Morgan Wallen’s guitarist, on his upcoming track, “B-A-R In My DNA.” In 2024, he opened for Chris Cagle, a night he describes as unforgettable, with a crowd singing along and an electrifying vibe that solidified his passion for performing.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Billy plays guitar, drums, bass, and even a little keyboard. While he focuses on songwriting and performing his keen ear influences the production process. Currently, Billy is in the studio working on an EP set to release mid-year and dropped his newest single in January 2025. On weekends, you’ll find him gigging and sharing his music with fans, one show at a time. South Georgia is at the heart of Billy’s music. Drawing inspiration from Southern life, he incorporates relatable stories, dad jokes, and lessons from his upbringing into his songwriting. It’s this authentic storytelling and “country swag” that make his songs resonate with listeners.

Billy’s dreams include releasing a full album of original songs, playing a Nashville writers' round, collaborating with a hit songwriter, and opening for his lifelong inspiration, Corey Smith. He’s also working toward building a website, creating merchandise, and securing a publishing or record deal.
